Cookies and similar browser storage keep the cart and account working, protect checkout and help us understand store performance.
1. What these technologies are
A cookie is a small value stored by a website in a browser. Local storage, pixels, tags and similar technologies can remember a session, transmit an event or recognize a browser. “First-party” technology is set for jarhearts.com; “third-party” technology is provided by another organization such as Stripe or Google.
2. Categories we use

Exact names and durations can change when WordPress, WooCommerce, Stripe, Google or browser technology changes. Server logs and IP-derived security or approximate-location processing do not necessarily require a browser cookie.
3. Necessary versus nonessential technology
Necessary technologies support a requested cart, account, checkout, security, payment, fraud-prevention or network function. Blocking them can prevent the store from working. Analytics and advertising-measurement technologies are nonessential to completing an order and can be rejected through this page. Your choice does not stop ordinary server requests necessary to deliver a page or process an order.
4. Google measurement
Jar Hearts uses Google tag services, including Google Analytics and advertising conversion measurement. Google may receive the current page, IP address at collection, browser/device information, event data and cookie identifiers. Our currently implemented Google tag uses identifier GT-57V4JCL. Additional linked Google destinations may be configured within the Google account without changing the site script. Read Google’s partner-sites explanation and Google Privacy Policy.
5. Stripe checkout technology
Stripe may set or read browser technology during checkout to process payment, authenticate the transaction, prevent fraud and comply with payment-network obligations. Because these functions are necessary to the payment you request, rejecting analytics does not disable Stripe’s necessary checkout technology. See the Stripe Cookie Policy.
6. Managing your choices
The buttons above set or remove a first-party preference and reload the page. When the opt-out is active, the Jar Hearts theme does not load its nonessential Google tag on subsequent page views in that browser. The choice cannot retrieve data already sent, control cookies set on a different domain, or replace controls inside another service. You may also clear cookies, use browser controls, install Google’s opt-out tool or adjust Google ad settings.
A recognized Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a rejection of nonessential Google measurement where legally required. The older Do Not Track signal has no uniform industry meaning and is not separately acted upon. If JavaScript is disabled, use browser settings and send any statutory opt-out request to info@jarhearts.com.
