U.S. fulfillment
Jar Hearts ships direct electronics orders to supported United States addresses. Available services, charges and estimated dates are displayed before you place an order.
The cart and checkout show the services, shipping charge and best current delivery estimate for the exact products and destination. Do not rely on a general site statement when checkout provides a more specific estimate.
1. Destinations and address eligibility
We accept orders for delivery to valid addresses in the United States that our checkout and carrier network support. Product size, weight, value, battery content, manufacturer restrictions or carrier coverage may make a product unavailable for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses or remote locations. The checkout result for the specific address is authoritative. We do not offer international shipping.
2. Processing, dispatch and delivery estimates
Processing begins after we receive the order, obtain payment authorization and complete any reasonably necessary fraud or address review. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time. An estimated shipment or delivery date may appear on the product page, checkout, acknowledgment or later order update. Business days exclude weekends and carrier or federal holidays unless stated otherwise.
We maintain a reasonable basis for shipment representations. If no shipment time is stated, we will ship within the time required by the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, ordinarily within 30 days after receiving a properly completed order. An acknowledgment that merely confirms receipt is not a shipment promise.
3. Shipping charges, free-shipping threshold, taxes and payment review
For supported delivery addresses in the contiguous United States, standard shipping is $5.99 when the merchandise subtotal after discounts is less than $35.00 and free when that subtotal is $35.00 or more. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses and P.O. boxes use a $14.99 special-destination shipping rate and are not eligible for the $35.00 free-shipping offer. The cart and checkout apply the rate after the complete shipping address is entered.
Shipping charges and applicable taxes are shown before order submission. A payment authorization is not acceptance and does not guarantee dispatch. High-value, unusual or mismatched-address transactions may require additional verification. We may cancel before acceptance if verification cannot be completed, and any captured amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
4. Carriers, services and special handling
We select or offer carriers and service levels based on destination and product characteristics. Carrier names and service descriptions do not guarantee a particular route, vehicle or handoff. Lithium batteries, oversized products, chemicals, compressed gas, high-value items and other specially regulated goods may require ground service, signature, adult signature, special packaging or a restricted destination. We comply with applicable carrier and hazardous-material rules.
5. Split shipments, backorders and substitutions
An order may ship in separate packages from one or more fulfillment locations. Tracking and acceptance may occur separately for each shipment. We will not substitute a materially different product without consent. If an item becomes unavailable or materially delayed, we may cancel that item and issue a refund, or seek your agreement to a revised date. Unless clearly stated before purchase, we do not charge an extra shipping fee merely because an order is split.
6. Tracking and shipment notices
When tracking is available, we send it to the order email and may display it in My Account or Order Tracking. A carrier may take time to post the first scan after a label is created. “Label created” generally means shipment preparation has begun; it does not necessarily mean the carrier has possession.
7. Address accuracy, changes and signatures
You are responsible for reviewing the recipient, street, unit number, city, state and ZIP code before submitting the order. Contact us immediately if a correction is needed. We cannot guarantee a change after processing begins and will not reroute a package where doing so creates fraud or delivery risk. A signature may be required based on product, value, address or carrier policy. Make appropriate arrangements to receive a signature-required package.
8. Delivery, title and risk of loss
Delivery occurs when the carrier records the package as delivered to the shipping address or an authorized pickup location, subject to applicable law. Unless law requires otherwise, title and risk of loss pass at delivery. Before that point, Jar Hearts remains responsible for the carrier relationship and for legally required remedies for a shipment lost or damaged in transit.
Instructions authorizing an unattended location, neighbor, building desk, locker or carrier hold may increase theft or access risk after delivery. We will still review a disputed delivery in good faith using carrier scans and available evidence.
9. Delays and the right to cancel
Weather, carrier congestion, emergencies, supply interruptions and address problems may cause delays. If we learn that we cannot ship by the promised time, we will send a delay notice and provide a revised date and an opportunity to consent or cancel when required by federal law. If consent is required and not obtained, we will cancel and promptly refund the unshipped item, including associated shipping charges. A carrier delay after timely shipment will be addressed reasonably and does not eliminate remedies required by law.
10. Missing, stolen or misdelivered packages
If tracking stalls or a package is marked delivered but cannot be located, check the delivery area, household members, building staff and carrier notices, then contact us promptly. We may open a carrier investigation and request a signed statement or other reasonable cooperation. Depending on the investigation and applicable law, we will provide the appropriate replacement, refund or other resolution. We do not make a customer waive lawful rights as a condition of an investigation.
11. Visible damage, concealed damage or wrong items
Inspect the outer package and product promptly. If a shipment is visibly damaged, photograph the label, all sides of the package, internal packing and product; retain them; and contact us as soon as practical, preferably within 48 hours. For concealed damage, defects or an incorrect item, contact us when discovered. A preferred reporting window helps preserve carrier evidence but does not shorten any non-waivable legal right. We will provide return or claim instructions and cover reasonable return shipping for an incorrect, damaged-on-arrival or defective product.
12. Refused, unclaimed and undeliverable shipments
A package returned because of an inaccurate address, refusal, repeated failed delivery or failure to collect may be treated as a return after receipt and inspection. To the extent permitted by law, actual outbound and return-carrier charges may be deducted when the failure was not caused by Jar Hearts or the carrier. We will disclose any deduction before finalizing the refund. Defective, damaged or incorrect shipments are not subject to this deduction.
13. Contact and incorporated terms
