Electronics warranty & support
Warranty coverage depends on the exact product, condition and manufacturer terms shown before purchase. This policy explains the roles of Jar Hearts and the manufacturer.
1. Product condition and listing-specific terms
The product page identifies the model and, where applicable, whether an item is new, refurbished, renewed, open-box, used, an international model or sold “as is.” That disclosure is material to price, accessories and warranty. If no non-new condition is stated, the item is represented as new. Contact us before purchase if the condition or included components are unclear.
2. Manufacturer warranties
Many electronics products include a written warranty from the manufacturer. The manufacturer—not Jar Hearts—sets its duration, geographic scope, exclusions, registration requirements and repair or replacement remedy. Where a written warranty applies, its terms are available through the product documentation, a product-page link, the manufacturer’s site or from Jar Hearts on request before purchase. Keep the invoice, serial number and packaging needed for a claim.
Manufacturer warranty service may require direct contact with an authorized service center. We will provide reasonable proof-of-purchase assistance. A manufacturer’s refusal does not eliminate any independent obligation Jar Hearts has under applicable seller law.
3. Jar Hearts warranty position
Unless the product page or a separate written document expressly states a Jar Hearts limited warranty, Jar Hearts does not offer an additional written product warranty beyond the product description, this return policy and any manufacturer warranty. We do not adopt a manufacturer’s warranty as our own merely by linking to it. Nothing in this section disclaims an express representation that became part of the sale or an implied warranty that applicable law does not permit us to disclaim.
4. Implied warranties and state rights
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any implied warranty applicable to a product is limited to the shortest duration the law permits. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, and federal law may restrict a retailer’s ability to disclaim them when a written warranty or service contract is provided. In those states, the lawful warranty and remedy apply without reduction.
No policy limits rights concerning a recalled, unsafe, counterfeit, misdescribed or materially defective product that cannot legally be waived.
5. Requesting support
Contact info@jarhearts.com with the order number, exact model, serial/IMEI where relevant, date the issue began, operating environment, troubleshooting already completed and photographs or video if useful. Do not send passwords, encryption keys or complete payment-card information. We may ask you to perform safe, reasonable troubleshooting or install an official manufacturer update. Do not open, modify or repair a product if doing so could create a hazard or void applicable coverage.
6. What warranties ordinarily do not cover
Subject to the controlling warranty and law, coverage ordinarily excludes misuse, accident, unauthorized modification or repair, improper installation, incompatible voltage or accessories, liquid or impact damage, cosmetic wear, consumables, lost data, malware, external network or service failure, and failure to follow maintenance or safety instructions. Normal battery-capacity reduction may be treated differently from a defective battery. These examples do not override a more favorable written warranty or mandatory law.
7. Compatibility and installation
Electronics can depend on ports, chipsets, firmware, drivers, voltage, region, mounting, networks and third-party services. Product support can help interpret listed specifications, but unless expressly sold as an installation or design service, Jar Hearts does not warrant a complete system design or professional installation. Use a qualified installer where the manufacturer or applicable code requires one.
8. Repairs, replacements and returned data
A repair or replacement may erase stored data. Back up information and remove accounts, locks, cards and accessories not required for diagnosis. Replacement products may be new or equivalent to the purchased condition as permitted by the applicable warranty. Warranty service does not extend coverage beyond the original term unless the warranty or state law says otherwise.
9. Safety issues and recalls
Stop using a device that overheats, sparks, swells, smokes, smells burned or presents another apparent hazard. Disconnect power only if safe. See Product Safety & Recalls for urgent guidance and CPSC resources. Recall remedies are governed by the official recall and law, not the ordinary 30-day return window.
